This is when the puzzle making fun begins, as you assemble the film for the first time seeing how it transformed from what I wrote on the page, through it’s interpretation by the actors to actual footage.
After and exhausting and exhilarating weekend, The Specimen is in the can. (Or should I say cup?).
Casting is one of the most important aspects of pulling a film together. Even more so with a film like The Specimen where we follow a single character into an embarrassingly intimate situation.
A comedic short film written and directed by Paul Cuoco, and based on actual events, The Specimen is the hilariously embarrassing tale of a man, a public restroom, and his intimate moment with a specimen cup. This is going to be awkward.
